Privacy
in plain language.
Most privacy statements are written to be skipped. This one isn't. Short version: we only use what you choose to send us, only to reply to you, and we don't follow you around the internet afterwards.
1. Who's behind this
This website is run by VETA Network, a talent and creative agency in Amsterdam. We are responsible (the “controller”) for the personal data described on this page.
VETA Network

2. What we collect, and why
When you use the contact form
The form has three doors. Depending on the one you choose, we ask for:
- Everyone: your name, email address and your message.
- Brands: your company or agency (optional) and when you'd like to start (optional).
- Creators and talent: your social handle and the platform where you post most.
- Partners: your company (optional) and what you do (optional).
We use this to read your message, answer it and, if it clicks, start a conversation about working together. That's it. The form lands as an email in our inbox. Not in a marketing list, not in a newsletter, not in a spreadsheet called “leads 2026”.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible agreement (article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us (article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The checkbox on the form confirms you know what we do with your message.
When you email us directly
Same as the form: we use your email and what you write in it to reply, on the same legal basis.
When you visit the website
Like every website on the planet, the server that delivers our pages sees technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. Our hosting provider uses it to deliver the site, keep it secure and stop abuse. We don't use it to figure out who you are. Honestly, we're not that curious. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Spam protection
Bots love contact forms. We don't love bots. So the form has a few quiet checks: a hidden field only bots fill in, a minimum time to fill it in (nobody types that fast), a limit on links, a limit on how often one connection can send, and an invisible bot check from our hosting provider, Vercel BotID. It runs in your browser without puzzles, so no clicking on traffic lights. For the rate limit we briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address in memory, for at most a few minutes; it is never stored or linked to your message. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a form that isn't flooded with spam (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Cookies? Nope.
This website does not set cookies, does not store anything in your browser and does not use analytics, advertising pixels or social media trackers. Fonts, images and videos are served from our own domain, so opening a page doesn't send your data to Google, Meta or anyone else. That's also why you didn't have to click away a cookie banner. You're welcome.
We link to our Instagram. Once you click through, you are on Instagram and Meta's own privacy policy applies.
4. Who else gets to see it
We don't sell your data, and we don't pass it around for marketing. Two service providers help us run things. They process data on our behalf, under a data processing agreement:
- Vercel Inc. (United States) is where the website lives, including the contact form and the bot check. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and also uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EEA. For the deeper bot analysis Vercel works with its partner Kasada.
- ZXCS (the Netherlands) is where our mailbox lives. So that's where your message ends up: in our inbox, read by actual people.
If we start working together on a specific project (for example a campaign with a brand), we only share your details with the people involved after we've discussed it with you. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
- Messages and enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, so we can pick up the conversation again. Then we delete them.
- Creator and talent applications: up to 12 months, unless we start working together. Want it removed sooner? Just ask.
- If you become a client or talent: we keep what is needed for the agreement and our administration, including invoices, for 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
- Server and security logs: kept by Vercel for a limited period for operations and security, then deleted automatically.
6. Young creators
A lot of talent starts young. We know, we were there. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us with you, or to send the form for you. We never sign anything with someone under 18 without their parent or guardian involved.
7. Your rights (you have quite a few)
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we have about you, and give you a copy;
- correct it, or delete it;
- limit how we use it, or stop using it (you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest);
- send it to you or to someone else in a common format.
Email hello@veta-network.com and tell us what you'd like. We reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm it's really you before we hand anything over.
Not happy with how we handle your data? Tell us first. We'd much rather fix it than argue about it. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
8. Keeping it safe
The website only runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), form messages are sent to our mailbox over an encrypted connection, and only the VETA Network team has access to that mailbox.
9. When this page changes
If the website changes (for example when we add analytics or a newsletter), we update this page first and change the date at the top. See also our terms.
