Founder

Valentino Kemper.
Couldn’t lip-sync. Built an agency anyway.

Founder of VETA Network and VETA Media. Creator since 2015, director by choice, and the reason this website has a hero that winks at you.

The story so far.
In seven chapters.

Chapter 01
2015

The kid who couldn’t lip-sync.

In 2015 Valentino is 18, and Musical.ly is the app everybody is talking about. He downloads it because it’s trending, tries the lip-sync thing like everyone else, and finds out he is terrible at it. Small problem.

Bigger opportunity: he’s a dancer. So while his feed is full of lip-syncs, he posts dance videos instead. Two, three months in, they start to take off. That’s the moment it clicks: this isn’t a hobby, this is a stage.

Chapter 02
Los Angeles

One-way-ticket energy.

Through the app he has made friends in Los Angeles. So at 19 he does the only logical thing and flies out to chase it. Out there he meets the creators and peers who are building this new kind of famous, and works with the wave of short-form apps that followed Musical.ly, like Cheez and Likee.

Lesson learned: the fastest way to understand a platform is to be on the inside of it.

Chapter 03
The start of VETA

Huge reach. Zero income.

Back in the Benelux he notices something odd. Most of the biggest Musical.ly creators are younger than him, many of them still in school. Massive audiences, and no idea what to do with them. Everybody had reach. Nobody was making a living.

He’s better at that part, so he starts managing them. That’s how VETA begins: turning attention into actual opportunities. The first jobs are physical ones, with Efteling and Walibi. Then the music industry calls, and VETA starts working with Sony Music, Warner Music, Universal Music and a stack of other labels.

Chapter 04
VETA Entertainment

One name. Fewer tabs.

For years the music side ran as VETA Entertainment: helping artists, shooting music videos, building campaigns around tracks. At some point having a separate name for everything stopped making sense.

So it all moved under one roof: VETA Network. Talent, creators, campaigns and film. Fewer tabs, same people.

Chapter 05
The quiet chapter

Then it got quiet.

No big announcement, no drama. Just quiet, and time to figure out what VETA should become next. Sometimes the best thing a storyteller can do is shut up for a while.

Chapter 06
2023 onwards

The AI detour that wasn’t a detour.

In 2023 he starts going deep on AI, because he can see what it’s about to do to the way stories get made. Three years of building, testing and breaking things follow.

By the end of 2025 it all comes together. VETA Media builds the AI systems and software. VETA Network tells the stories. Two companies, one obsession.

Chapter 07
Now

Back in the director’s chair.

What he loves most today is directing. Formats like VETA’s own SAM stories, campaigns, music videos: as long as it’s creative, makes people stop scrolling for a second and actually makes them feel something.

It’s also why VETA Network calls itself a network of storytellers, and not an agency with a capabilities deck.

Things you should know
01

His second office is his car. Hours at a time. Things get fixed in there.

02

The laptop is always with him. Yes, also at birthdays. Sorry, everyone.

03

Does what he says. If he wants to make something, it gets made.
